Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Management Accountant to join our Finance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy of financial reporting, contributing to an effective internal control environment, and supporting broad company initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare monthly Management Accounts and general ledger trial balances for review.
  • Prepare monthly Balance Sheet reconciliations for review.
  • Maintain the general ledger, including posting of journals, maintenance of prepayments, accruals, and deferred income schedules.
  • Manage sales, work-in-progress, invoicing, credit control, and revenue recognition, ensuring completeness and integrity of contract manager data.
  • Prepare management information and analysis as required, assisting with budget queries and comparisons of actual costs with budget.
  • Maintain fixed asset registers and depreciation.
  • Assist with VAT and tax returns.
  • Deal with and respond to customer and vendor queries in a prompt and timely manner.
  • Assist with the annual audit, local audit, and statutory accounts.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Requirements

  • Accountancy qualification (CIMA, ACCA).
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
  • Experience in a data center or critical infrastructure environment is considered an advantage.
  • Experience in dealing with customer issues and problem-solving.
  • Able to plan, organize, and prioritize workload to meet deadlines.
  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft desktop and server operating systems, as well as Microsoft Office 365.
  • Strong communication skills (verbal and written) with the ability to communicate internally with team members and externally with vendors and other service providers.
  • Ability to work effectively in collaboration with cross-functional teams to achieve shared goals and deliver business objectives.
