About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Support Worker to join our Community Learning Disability Team. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference in a fast-paced and challenging environment and be involved in the on-going development of intensive support functions within our team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct care and observation of individuals with learning disabilities under the guidance and indirect supervision of qualified staff.
  • Work with service users on an individual and group basis to actively engage them in their treatment and care plans.
  • Support the development of social, self-help, occupational, and personal skills as directed by the appropriate named lead professional.
  • Participate in an on-call rota alongside a registered professional during the day, evenings, and weekends across Liverpool and Sefton.
Requirements
  • Experience of working in a care setting.
  • Demonstrate evidence of working in a team.
  • Experience of working with individuals with learning disabilities and those who offend or display challenging behavior.
