Emergency Response Medic Role

We are seeking an experienced Paramedic to join our team at the Midlands and Lancashire Commissioning Support Unit as an Emergency Response Medic. In this critical role, you will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, treating, referring, or signposting patients with undifferentiated or undiagnosed conditions related to minor illness or injury.

**Job Summary:**
The successful candidate will work as an autonomous, accountable Paramedic, providing a specialist resource for healthcare professionals and service users. You will coordinate telephone triage, taking clinical responsibility for all patients who have requested an urgent appointment.

**Key Responsibilities:**
  • Assess, diagnose, and treat patients with minor illnesses or injuries.
  • Coordinate telephone triage and provide clinical support to patients.
  • Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality patient services.


**Required Skills and Qualifications:**
  • Paramedic Registration with the HCPC.
  • BSc in Paramedic Science or IHCD Paramedic.
  • Five years post-registration experience.
  • Non-Medical Prescriber qualification.
  • Long Term Conditions Qualifications.
  • Membership of the College of Paramedics.
