About the Position

In this role, you will be involved in all aspects of food preparation and delivery, with opportunities to develop your skills and knowledge as you progress through your apprenticeship. You will also learn and develop valuable customer service skills as you gain experience working within the hospitality and catering environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with the preparation of food in various areas of the Wilde Thyme/Entier business.
  • Assist with deliveries as required and be aware of stock rotation and incoming product record sheet.
  • Work from Comrie central processing unit and collaborate with Wilde Thyme lead Chefs in various heritage private and corporate sites throughout Scotland.
  • Support with all areas in a professional kitchen.
  • Have the opportunity to work with Scotland's world-class larder and assist with all menu preparation for events.
  • Gain an understanding of the importance of food safety systems and how to follow company procedures.
  • Gain an in-depth understanding of Wilde Thyme/Entier policies and procedures, ensuring safety practices are adhered to at all times.
  • Support with preparation of events, including van packing and food prep.

  • You must be enthusiastic about working in the hospitality and catering industry.
  • You must be passionate about cooking.
  • You must be willing to learn new skills and undertake instructions to support your development.
  • You must have a positive and friendly outlook and attitude.
  • You must hold a full and valid driving license.
