FTH Hire Group is a leading independent plant and tool hire company with a strong presence in the UK market, boasting ten depots across the South of England and Scotland.
As a result of our ambitious growth plans, we are seeking to add a high-calibre professional to our Finance Team, who will play a key role in driving business success.
As a member of our Finance Team, you will be reporting into and working closely with our Finance Manager, contributing to the production of timely, accurate, and relevant financial reports and statements, while ensuring tight internal controls are in place.
Key Responsibilities:
- Production of monthly management accounts and annual financial statements.
- Preparation of monthly/quarterly VAT returns and reconciliations.
- Ensuring monthly reconciliation of all balance sheet accounts, including reconciliations, prepayments, and accruals.
- Production of a full monthly commentary analysing performance against key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Assistance in the budget/re-forecasting process.
- Supporting the sales function in a financial planning and analysis capacity, producing relevant reports and statistics as required.
Requirements:
- Minimum of qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA).
- Strong Excel and accountancy system skills (SAGE 200 and Syrinx).
- Excellent organisational skills.
