Financial Planning and Analysis Senior Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Financial Planning and Analysis Analyst to join our team at QinetiQ. As a key member of our Group FP&A Function, you will play a critical role in providing financial analysis, insight, and general support to our organization.
About the RoleAs a Senior Financial Planning and Analysis Analyst, you will be responsible for:
- Providing financial analysis and insight to support business decision-making
- Assisting the Group Head of FP&A with the preparation of monthly analysis reports
- Supporting the Group Head of FP&A in delivering all financial aspects of the annual budget process
- Completing audit schedules and validating company statements for the published annual and interim accounts
- Assisting the Group Finance team and other key stakeholders with ad-hoc analysis, financial modelling, and decision support activities
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Strong accounting experience with particular exposure to forecasting, budgeting, and long-term planning
- Advanced knowledge of Excel and financial modelling capability
- Experience of Oracle Hyperion/EPM
