Job Summary:

KONE is seeking a skilled Construction Project Manager to oversee the scope, schedule, and budget of assigned projects. As the primary interface to customers and stakeholders, this role focuses on customer satisfaction and KONE profitability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage Lifts modernization and Field replacement projects from sales/installation hand-over to completion, ensuring seamless handover to customers and Maintenance.
  • Responsible for successful project start-up, project reviews, project reporting, and facilitating.
  • Oversee site preparations and readiness, storage and logistics, and necessary resources and tools.
  • Lead and manage the installation team, including subcontractors, plan and ensure sufficient project resourcing and competences, responsible for site operatives' motivation.
  • Proactively manage customer communication throughout the project, ensuring professional stakeholder management.
  • Accountable for the project's financial planning and forecasting, cash flow management, and revenue management (capitalizing on change order opportunities).
  • Create and maintain safety and security awareness amongst employees and subcontractors in the project, ensuring adherence to KONE's and customer's safety and security policies.

Requirements:

  • People management/Leadership
  • Strong organizing skills
  • Customer focus
  • Financial project planning, cost control
  • Lift experience is a plus, but not mandatory – we are calling for applications from Engineering or Construction industries
  • Excellent health and safety knowledge
  • SMSTS, CSCS card
  • Driving Licence
  • Good written and spoken English
