Job Title: HGV Driver - Waste Collection

Job Description:

We are seeking a reliable and physically fit HGV driver to join our team in Chelmsford. As a waste collection specialist, you will be responsible for collecting residential waste and recycling, moving bins and boxes, and reporting any problems with waste collections.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collecting residential waste and recycling in Chelmsford
  • Moving bins, boxes, and other waste management equipment
  • Using a lifting mechanism to tip waste from bins into the lorry
  • Reporting any problems with waste collections
  • Assisting waste collection operatives with collections

Requirements:

  • 2 years HGV driving experience (not essential)
  • Flexible approach to work and changing circumstances
  • Ability to work quickly and cleanly
  • Polite and professional attitude towards the public

Working Hours:

6:30/7am start - 9.25 hours day (job and finish)

Tuesday to Friday

37 hours a week (overtime available depending on workload)
