We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Nuclear Site Administrator to join our team at Capula in Reading.

As a Nuclear Site Administrator, you will play a critical role in supporting the project manager, engineering, and IT engineers in ensuring the smooth operation of the project.

The successful candidate will have excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and experience in document control. You will be responsible for maintaining customer correspondence, ensuring compliance with Quality Assurance requirements, and reporting any non-conformances or poor record completion to Senior Managers.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is comfortable working in an IT environment, has good interpersonal skills, and is able to present challenges, issues, and deliverables in internal and external meetings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Principal controller of Lifetime Quality Records (LTQR) for the projects
  • Maintaining customer correspondence within the specified nuclear contract
  • Ensuring all records are clear, legible, and completed appropriately
  • Challenging project team members if documentation is not completed to the correct standard
  • Reporting non-conformances or persistent poor record completion to Snr Managers
  • Maintaining other paper records, filing, collating, checking, photocopying, scanning as required
  • Maintaining electronic records, databases, spreadsheets
  • Sending documentation to customers, maintaining document transmittal records
  • Attending internal and external meetings and presenting challenges, issues, and deliverables

Requirements:

  • Proven administration experience, preferably with document control responsibilities
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Good interpersonal skills and ability to challenge
  • Good skills/experience in Word, Excel, Outlook, databases
  • Comfortable working in an IT environment and with technical engineers
  • Able to work under pressure, to strict deadlines, sometimes juggling multiple demands
  • Ability to gain SC clearance/UK national due to the contract requirements
  • Previous experience of materials traceability and understanding of its significance
  • Ability to deal with supply chain, resolve issues, plan paperwork, and chase as required
  • Understanding of legal compliance and customer-related requirements
  • Ability to be based at the client site premises in Reading area

Salary Range: £30,000 - £40,000 per annum, depending on experience
