**Nuclear Security Specialist**

We are looking for a highly skilled Nuclear Security Specialist to join our team at AWE Plc.
This is a site-based role in the Reading/Berkshire area, where you will be part of our team of Security Maintenance Engineers.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in security maintenance and a passion for working in a business critical to UK defence, UK Threat reduction and the UK's Nuclear deterrent.
As a Security Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for conducting Defence Nuclear Security Regulated Maintenance activities on site.
Our team works closely together to ensure the highest standards of security and maintenance are achieved.
Please note that this role may involve working in a secure environment and will require the ability to obtain security clearance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting Defence Nuclear Security Regulated Maintenance activities
- Working in a team environment to achieve high standards of security and maintenance
- Collaborating with other teams to ensure the successful delivery of our operations
Requirements:
- Strong background in security maintenance
- Passion for working in a business critical to UK defence, UK Threat reduction and the UK's Nuclear deterrent
- Ability to obtain security clearance
