We are looking for a highly skilled Workshop Operations Manager to lead our joinery workshop and spray shop in Milton Keynes. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations and ensuring the highest quality standards are met.

About the Role

The successful candidate will have extensive experience in bespoke joinery manufacturing and installation, with a strong background in managing teams and coordinating projects. You will work closely with our design team to ensure effective communication and coordination, and maintain a safe and efficient working environment.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Lead the joinery workshop and spray shop teams to achieve delivery dates and practical completion.
  2. Liaise with the design team to ensure effective communication and coordination.
  3. Manage the ordering and stocking of materials for each project.
  4. Maintain and service machinery and tools as needed.
  5. Coordinate deliveries and collections to and from sites.
  6. Organize samples for client sign-off on site installations.
  7. Conduct regular site visits to assess access and working conditions.
Requirements
  1. Proven experience as a Workshop/Production Manager in bespoke joinery manufacturing.
  2. Full understanding of bespoke joinery manufacturing and installation techniques.
  3. Good command of spoken English language.
  4. Fully competent in bespoke furniture/joinery manufacturing.
Salary and Benefits

This is a full-time permanent role with a competitive salary of £40,000 - £50,000 per annum, depending on experience. The successful candidate will also receive excellent benefits and career development opportunities.
