Job Description
Key Responsibilities


As a key member of the Dragados UK team, the successful candidate will be responsible for directing and supervising lifting operations and work of operators, including managing and assisting in project administration to establish operational priorities and maintain effective relationships with different project disciplines, subcontractors, and adjacent HS2 contractors.



Key Accountabilities


• Ensure that lifting operations are carried out in a safe and efficient manner, with due regard to the well-being of personnel and the environment.


• Manage and coordinate the work of operators, including planning and scheduling lifting operations, to ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget.


• Develop and maintain effective relationships with project stakeholders, including project managers, engineers, and contractors, to ensure that lifting operations are aligned with project objectives.


• Assist in the administration of project documentation, including lifting plans, risk assessments, and method statements, to ensure that all necessary procedures are in place.


• Collaborate with the project team to identify and mitigate potential risks associated with lifting operations, to ensure that projects are delivered safely and efficiently.


• Maintain accurate records of lifting operations, including lift plans, lift certificates, and incident reports, to ensure that all necessary information is available for future reference.



Requirements


The successful candidate will have:


• A strong understanding of lifting operations and safety procedures.


• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with project stakeholders.
