Brinksway School is a new Options Autism School, part of the Options Autism family, dedicated to providing exceptional education and care for pupils with Autism. Our school will have a capacity for 55 pupils and is set to open in September 2024.

The Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and caring Teaching Assistant to join our team. As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the learning and development of our pupils with Autism. You will work closely with our experienced teaching staff to create a supportive and nurturing environment that enables our pupils to thrive.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the teacher in preparing learning materials and running classroom activities
  • Assist with the emotional and physical needs of pupils, promoting their independence and self-confidence
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues
  • Contribute to the creation of a safe and inclusive learning environment
