We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic History Graduate to join our team as a Teaching Assistant. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain experience in a school setting while being supported by our experienced team at Teaching Personnel.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the teacher in the preparation and delivery of lessons, ensuring a smooth and productive learning environment.
  • Work alongside small groups of students who may be struggling, providing targeted support to meet their learning needs.
  • Ensure the behaviour of pupils is controlled, creating a safe and respectful learning space.
  • Accompany the teacher on external visits, providing additional support and guidance.
  • Work with students of various ages, from year 7 to year 11, adapting your approach to meet their individual needs.
  • Ensure all safeguarding processes are implemented correctly, prioritizing the well-being of students.

What We Offer:

As a History Teaching Assistant with Teaching Personnel, you will have the opportunity to gain valuable experience in a school setting while being supported by our experienced team. You will have the chance to work with students of various ages, develop your teaching skills, and contribute to a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong understanding of History and a passion for teaching. You must also be willing to apply for a fully enhanced DBS check and provide at least two employment-based references. Training will be provided on safeguarding procedures to ensure you feel confident and prepared in your role.

Salary:

The salary for this position will be between £420 and £450 per week, depending on experience and the requirements of the school.
