We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Assistant Team Manager to join our Occupational Therapy department. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a crucial role in supporting our mission to provide exceptional care to our clients.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist the Team Manager in daily operational tasks and administrative duties.
- Support the development and implementation of client treatment plans under the supervision of licensed therapists.
- Coordinate client assessments and ensure timely documentation of therapy services.
- Facilitate communication between clients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure cohesive treatment.
- Participate in team meetings, providing updates on client progress and feedback on therapy programs.
- Assist in training and mentoring junior staff and interns within the occupational therapy team.
- Monitor resources and maintain supplies necessary for effective therapy execution.
- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy or a related field.
- Current certification or licensure in Occupational Therapy (or eligibility for certification).
- Previous experience in an occupational therapy or healthcare setting preferred.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to interact with clients and multidisciplinary teams.
- Ability to demonstrate compassion and understanding when working with diverse populations.
- Proficiency in using electronic medical records and other relevant software tools.
Working Hours: 36 hours per week, 09:00 - 17:00, Monday to Friday.
Location: Sutton, London.
Salary: £28.61 per hour.
