Senior Employment Legal Counsel Opportunity

Bruin is seeking a highly skilled Senior Employment Legal Counsel to join our growing team. As a key member of our legal department, you will play a critical role in advising the business on employment law-related matters, ensuring compliance with group strategy and driving people management in line with business vision and strategy.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide commercial employment legal advice to key stakeholders on employee relations and employment-related matters across the UK region.
  • Develop and ensure compliance with local employment legislation and regulation of employment documentation, including contracts and employment changes.
  • Assess employee risks and propose viable commercial solutions to management on complex employment and legal issues.
  • Ensure up-to-date knowledge of employment law and regulations to ensure our people's practices are legally compliant.
  • Provide strategic employment legal guidance on regulatory matters, such as pensions, GDPR, and remuneration policy.
Requirements:
  • Excellent knowledge of UK employment law.
  • Strong expertise in advising on complex ER cases, drafting employment documentation and policies/procedures, performance management, and restructuring.
  • Experience gained within financial services or law firms and a strong understanding of the regulatory environment is beneficial for this role.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and concisely both orally and in writing.
