We are seeking applications from UK Newly Qualified Nurses or UK student nurses who are in the process of obtaining NMC registration and have not yet completed a preceptorship programme.
Job Overview:As a newly qualified nurse, you will be working towards the completion of the preceptorship programme, which includes:
- Providing high-quality patient care, assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating care to meet the patient and their family's needs.
- Delivering appropriate care for admissions and discharges, ensuring a seamless transition for patients.
- Undertaking extended roles such as venepuncture, cannulation, and phlebotomy, expanding your skillset.
- Contributing to ongoing research-based care and practice development initiatives, staying at the forefront of nursing excellence.
- Supervising and delegating care to junior staff, promoting a fair and equitable work environment.
- Recognizing signs and symptoms of a deteriorating patient and initiating early interventions, ensuring timely and effective care.
Requirements:
- NMC Registration (or in the process of receiving).
- Experience working in a UK Acute Hospital.
- Ideal placements completed within a Private Hospital.
- Experience in either an Adults or Paediatric setting.
