Special Education Teaching Assistant Lead

A dedicated Special Education Teaching Assistant Lead is required to join our dynamic team at an all-through provision catering to pupils aged 2-19 with varying learning difficulties, sensory impairments, and complex medical needs. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional communication skills, be able to work independently and collaboratively, and demonstrate a genuine passion for supporting pupils with complex needs.
About the Role:The role involves providing tailored support to class teachers in lesson planning, engaging with pupils on an individual and group basis, and contributing to maintaining a safe and supportive learning environment.
Key Requirements:- Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent
- Prior experience working in a special school setting or with individuals requiring additional support
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with pupils, parents, and colleagues
This position offers a competitive salary range of £28,000 - £35,000 per annum, reflecting the importance of this role in supporting the educational journey of our pupils.
