About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Tesco Colleague. As a key member of our store team, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring our customers have a great shopping experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide excellent customer service, greeting customers with a smile and serving them with pride.

Availability Window

Our store is open 7 days a week, and we require our colleagues to be available to work during the following times:

Sun: 07:00:00 - 22:00:00

Mon: 07:00:00 - 07:15:00

Thu: 21:45:00 - 22:00:00

Fri: 07:00:00 - 22:00:00

Sat: 07:00:00 - 22:00:00

We will schedule your contracted hours within these times, and you'll have 3 weeks' notice of exactly when your shifts will be.

Our Colleague Rate of Pay

Our colleague rate of pay starts from £12.02 an hour, increasing to £13.15 for stores inside the M25. For all hours worked between midnight and 6am, you will receive an additional night premium of £2.30 per hour worked. Additional payments may also apply depending on location.

Guaranteed Hours

We offer a minimum of 16 guaranteed hours each week, but if you'd like to work fewer hours (to a minimum of 12), we have opportunities for this too.
