About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the improvement of teaching and learning within the faculty, ensuring that all students receive a high-quality education. This will involve monitoring, evaluating, and reviewing standards and provision, as well as contributing to the formulation of academy policies and procedures.

The ideal candidate will have outstanding teaching practice, excellent behavior management, and experience of improvement planning and implementing strategies to raise student achievement. They will also have contributed to improving the quality of learning, teaching, and curriculum, with a focus on pupil tracking and feedback practices.

Requirements
  • QTS (or equivalent) and a relevant undergraduate degree
  • Demonstrated outstanding teaching practice and excellent behavior management
  • Experience of improvement planning and implementing strategies to raise student achievement
  • Contributed to improving the quality of learning, teaching, and curriculum
  • Experience of high-quality pupil tracking and feedback practices
