Job Description: Vehicle Safety Inspector

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Vehicle Safety Inspector to join our team in the Maidstone area.

About the Role:

In this role, you will be responsible for conducting safety inspections on a wide range of vehicles, identifying potential hazards, and recommending necessary repairs or modifications.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough safety inspections on cars, vans, and light commercial vehicles to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and safety standards.
  • Diagnose and recommend necessary repairs or modifications to ensure vehicles meet the highest standards of safety and performance.
  • Provide customers with clear and accurate advice on repairs, maintenance, and inspection results.
  • Maintain high standards of workshop cleanliness and safety.
  • Keep detailed records of work completed, including inspections, repairs, and any parts used.
  • Ensure all equipment is properly maintained and in good working condition.
Ideally, You Will Have:
  • A full MOT Tester qualification (Class 4 and 7).
  • Proven experience as a Mechanic, with strong diagnostic skills and a solid understanding of vehicle repair and maintenance.
  • A valid driving licence.
  • Strong knowledge of vehicle systems and inspection procedures.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • A commitment to delivering high-quality customer service and keeping customers informed about the work carried out.
  • Attention to detail and a passion for the automotive industry.
What We Offer:
  • A competitive salary of £45,000 - £65,000 per annum based on experience.
