Finance Assistant

We are seeking a highly skilled Finance Assistant to join our dynamic team at CCR Recruitment Group. As a key member of our finance department, you will play a crucial role in maintaining financial control and providing essential support to our management team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of our order book and accounts, ensuring seamless financial control and decision-making.
  • Credit Control: Provide effective credit control services as needed, ensuring timely payments and minimizing bad debts.
  • Reconciliations and Payment Runs: Conduct regular reconciliations of bank and credit card statements, as well as payment runs, to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
  • Client Invoicing and AR/AP: Generate prompt and accurate client invoices, and handle incoming AR/AP queries with professionalism and attention to detail.
  • Software and IT Skills: Proficiency in Sage 50 Accounts Professional (or other accounts software) and intermediate-level Excel skills are essential for this role.
  • Communication and Problem-Solving: Develop strong relationships with clients and colleagues, and demonstrate proactive problem-solving skills to identify and mitigate potential issues.
  • Workload Management: Prioritize and manage a high-volume workload, meeting tight deadlines and delivering high-quality results in a fast-paced environment.
