Structural Engineer Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated senior structural engineer to join our team, working on exciting projects with some of the largest retailers and developers in the UK.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Undertake detailed structural engineering design on a variety of projects, including food & retail, medical, and large commercial buildings.
  2. Prepare technical presentations and reports following site surveys and at various project work stages.
  3. Collaborate with Revit technicians in the production of CAD/BIM models and documentation, working closely to achieve timely project delivery.
  4. Contribute to net-zero carbon construction and engage in Continuing Professional Development (CPD).
  5. Undertake site inspections, collaborating with clients, architects, other consultants, and contractors.
  6. Represent our client at meetings with clients, contractors, and the wider industry.
  7. Ensure an excellent level of service is delivered consistently, design decisions are met, and project work is carried out within agreed deadlines and budgets.
  8. Proficient in Tekla Structural Designer or alternative FEM analysis & design software.
Structural Engineer Position Requirements

We are looking for a candidate with:

  1. BEng or BSc in Structural Engineering.
  2. Varied experience in all common forms of construction and building types.
  3. Experience of work on large projects, including offices, hotels, and housing developments.
  4. Full clean driving license.
  5. Software knowledge in Tekla.
Structural Engineer Position Remuneration
