Structural Engineer Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Structural Engineer to join our team at Bennett and Game Recruitment LTD. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality structural engineering designs and solutions for a variety of projects, including food and retail, medical, and large commercial buildings.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Undertake detailed structural engineering design and analysis on a range of projects, including food and retail, medical, and large commercial buildings.
  2. Prepare technical presentations and reports following site surveys and at various project work stages.
  3. Collaborate with Revit technicians in the production of CAD/BIM models and documentation to achieve timely project delivery.
  4. Contribute to net-zero carbon construction and engage in Continuing Professional Development (CPD).
  5. Undertake site inspections and collaborate with clients, architects, other consultants, and contractors.
  6. Represent our client at meetings with clients, contractors, and the wider industry.
  7. Ensure an excellent level of service is delivered consistently, design decisions are met, and project work is carried out within agreed deadlines and budgets.
Requirements:
  1. BEng or BSc in Structural Engineering.
  2. Varied experience in all common forms of construction and building types.
  3. Experience of work on large projects, including offices, hotels, and housing developments.
  4. Full clean driving license.
  5. Software knowledge in Tekla.
