About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Principal Data Engineer to join our dynamic data team. As a key member of our product teams, you will participate in our agile process and collaborate with data engineers, data scientists, and ML and analytics engineers to design and build high-quality data pipelines.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and build consensus around data architecture plans, including tests
  • Lead plan execution and bring others along with you
  • Shaping our data engineering roadmap
  • Designing and building data pipelines and self-service tooling to provide clean, efficient results
  • Promoting data governance through documentation, observability, and controls
Requirements
  • Significant commercial experience in a senior Data Engineering role
  • Great Python skills
  • Previous experience with real-time data streaming platforms such as Kafka/Confluent/Google Cloud Pub/Sub
  • Experience handling and validating real-time data
  • Proficient with ELT pipelines and the full data lifecycle
