Asset Care Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Asset Care Engineer to join our team at Saputo Dairy UK. As an Asset Care Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the reliable operation of our plant by completing day-to-day planned preventative maintenance schedules and implementing the asset care strategy to meet day-to-day and long-term goals of the business in a safe and sustainable manner.
Key Responsibilities- Complete day-to-day planned preventative maintenance schedules to support the delivery of the site maintenance strategy, ensuring reliable operation of the plant.
- Implement the asset care strategy to meet day-to-day and long-term goals of the business in a safe and sustainable manner.
- Ensure adherence to all food and safety standards, GMP and SSOW.
- Drive a quality culture through the adherence to first-class engineering techniques.
- Provide detailed technical guidance for the planning and completion of activities.
- Support and develop continuous improvement activities based on captured field data within the department to identify improvement opportunities and drive actions to completion.
- Improve asset care standards across the department and ensure that the site is compliant.
- An experienced and time-served engineer through an apprenticeship, NVQ, or HNC – mechanically biased but with electrical knowledge.
- Experienced working as a site services engineer with excellent knowledge of utilities plant and equipment maintenance procedures and routines (including HVAC, steam, ammonia, and water treatment).
- Someone who enjoys a hands-on approach to engineering, with demonstratable practical engineering skills.
- Able to demonstrate an understanding of current relevant legislations.
