About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Intelligence Manager to join our team at Ultima. As a key member of our Business Operations department, you will play a pivotal role in driving data-driven strategies and solutions that align with our business goals.

Main Responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor, and develop the Business Intelligence team
  • Design and implement scalable Business Intelligence solutions using tools like Azure Data Factory for ETL, OLAP, and Power BI
  • Support stakeholders in gathering requirements and creating structured, scalable, and reusable reports
  • Present data analysis and insights clearly to various stakeholders
  • Promote best practices for effective data sharing and consumption
  • Support the Head of Operations in analyzing existing processes and proposing innovative solutions
  • Ensure data accuracy and integrity through robust governance and quality assurance
  • Maintain professional documentation for projects and deliverables
  • Manage multiple Business Intelligence projects concurrently, ensuring timely delivery while assisting the Head of Operations in effective prioritization
  • Stay updated with the latest Business Intelligence trends and technologies to enhance organizational capabilities

Requirements

  • Comprehensive knowledge and use of Business Intelligence, data analytics, Microsoft Azure, including Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL Database
  • Knowledge and experience using and administering MS Dynamics Finance and Operations and Customer Engagement in relation to database integrations
  • Proven SQL and relational database skills, understanding of various infrastructure implementations, and ability to write, execute, and interpret complex queries
  • Deep understanding and experience of data warehousing, data modeling concepts, and building new data tables
  • Excellent attention to detail when considering design, proposal, and documentation skills for solutions
  • Experience and proven record in driving automation and self-service for reporting, dashboarding, and consumption working with large transactional data volumes
  • Additional experience with Power BI data visualizations, MS SQL Server BI Stack, SSRS, TSQL, Power Query, MDX, DAX, Python, R/Scala, and PowerShell is beneficial
