Job Title: Business Intelligence Analyst

Job Summary:

Ultima is seeking a highly skilled Business Intelligence Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our Business Operations department, you will be responsible for designing and implementing scalable Business Intelligence solutions that meet the evolving needs of our stakeholders and the wider business.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Lead and mentor the Business Intelligence team to ensure the delivery of high-quality solutions.
  • Design and develop Business Intelligence solutions using tools like Azure Data Factory, OLAP, and Power BI.
  • Support stakeholders in gathering requirements and creating structured, scalable, and reusable reports.
  • Present data analysis and insights clearly to various stakeholders.
  • Promote best practices for effective data sharing and consumption.
  • Support the Head of Operations in analyzing existing processes and proposing innovative solutions.
  • Ensure data accuracy and integrity through robust governance and quality assurance.
  • Maintain professional documentation for projects and deliverables.
  • Manage multiple Business Intelligence projects concurrently, ensuring timely delivery while assisting the Head of Operations in effective prioritization.

Requirements:

  • Comprehensive knowledge and use of Business Intelligence, data analytics, Microsoft Azure, including Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL Database.
  • Knowledge and experience using and administering MS Dynamics Finance and Operations and Customer Engagement in relation to database integrations.
  • Proven SQL and relational database skills, understanding of various infrastructure implementations, and the ability to write, execute, and interpret complex queries.
  • Deep understanding and experience of data warehousing, data modeling concepts, and building new data tables.
  • CI/CD toolsets and source control (GIT/Azure DevOps).
  • Excellent attention to detail when considering design, proposal, and documentation skills for solutions, which can be understood at various stakeholder levels by adapting and creating solutions as required.
  • Experience and proven record in driving automation and self-service for reporting, dashboarding, and consumption working with large transactional data volumes.
