About the Role

Barchester Healthcare is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Peripatetic Deputy Manager Clinical Lead to join our team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for managing and developing teams in various care homes across your region.

As a Peripatetic Deputy Manager Clinical Lead, you will work closely with the General Manager or hiring manager to implement action plans that ensure our residents' needs are met. You will take on leadership duties in the absence of the General Manager, helping with everything from care standards to motivating your team.

You will inspire a multidisciplinary team to make sure they help every resident to enjoy the best possible quality of life. This means leading by example and monitoring standards through regular audits, supervised clinical practice, and checking our regulatory compliance.

You will set the highest standards and draw on your skills to develop and deliver strategies that will help you achieve your goals. To join us as a Peripatetic Deputy Manager Clinical Lead, you will need to be a Registered Nurse (RGN/RMN) with current NMC registration and a teaching, mentoring, or supervision qualification.

Previous experience of working within a nursing home setting is essential, and evidence of continual professional development is also required. Experience in helping residents with different health needs is important too, as is a successful track record of managing safeguarding investigations and clinical risk assessments.

We will also look for some HR experience, a strong knowledge of sales and marketing, an understanding of budget management, and a track record of supporting newly qualified nurses through preceptorship. You will be compassionate, resilient, and determined to deliver quality care in our engaging and energetic environment.

Finally, due to the nature of this role, you must be flexible and willing to travel.
