Job Title: Technical Architect

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Architect to join our team at SecureCloud+.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in infrastructure management, with excellent knowledge of Windows server OS's, Microsoft Exchange, virtualisation technologies, server applications, and server hardware.

Key responsibilities will include designing medium to large-scale architecture solutions for Central Government and MoD projects, as well as large industry primes.

The Technical Architect will lead the technical design of systems and services, communicate design decisions, and resolve complex technical design challenges.

They will ensure that designs adhere to good data practices, compliance, regulatory standards, security frameworks, and best practices relevant to highly secure government systems.

The ideal candidate will have a background in TOGAF or similar architecture frameworks and methodologies.

They will work closely with project managers and engineers to ensure a smooth transition from design to delivery.

Experience in on-premise infrastructure design is essential, as well as experience designing infrastructure using technologies such as VMware ESXi/vSphere/vCenter/vCloud, General Networks, IDAM/RBAC/ABAC/MFA, Windows Technologies, SIEM, AntiVirus, Health Monitoring, PKI/HSM, Data Diodes, and Cross Domain Gateways.

Knowledge of Secure by Design and Zero Trust Principles is beneficial, as is experience working in a Defence setting.

The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and be able to produce documentation for CLD & HLD work.

They will be part of a small team and have a positive and enthusiastic attitude, with a pro-active approach to problem solving.

UK Security Check (SC) clearance is required for this position, and candidates must possess or be eligible to obtain SC clearance, with a view to obtaining UK Developed Vetting (DV) clearance as required.
