Warehouse Operations Manager

About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Warehouse Shift Leader to join our team at Lidl in Deutschland. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for leading shifts, managing a team of warehouse operatives, and ensuring the smooth and efficient running of our warehouse operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead shifts and manage a team of warehouse operatives to achieve high levels of productivity and efficiency
- Develop and implement process improvements to increase productivity and reduce costs
- Work closely with other Shift Leaders and Department Managers to ensure seamless communication and collaboration
- Support the Department Manager with daily operations and personnel management
- Mentor and train new starters to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in their role
- Proactively identify and address any issues or inefficiencies that may impact warehouse operations
Requirements
- Proven experience in a warehouse or operations management role
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
