Locum Children's Services Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Qualified Children's Senior Social Worker to join our Assessment team on a Locum basis. As a senior member of the team, you will be responsible for conducting assessments for children and families referred to Children's Social Work via MASH.
You will work closely with other professionals, such as health visitors, teachers, and police officers, to gather information and make informed decisions about the welfare and safety of children. This role involves conducting home visits, writing reports, and attending court hearings when necessary.
Key Requirements- Qualifications: Degree within Social Work (Degree/DipSW/CQSW)
- Experience: Minimum two years' experience working in a Children's Services setting
- Skillset: Strong working knowledge of Children's legislation and specific experience in Assessment, Children In Need and Children Protection
- Competitive hourly rate: £38 per hour umbrella rate
