Key Responsibilities
  • Trade Counter Sales: Confidently communicate product knowledge to customers, achieving sales targets and providing a positive customer experience.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional support to new and existing customers, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.
  • Logistics: Pick, load, and deliver products to customers using our 5-tonne flatbed trucks and LWB vans, ensuring safe and efficient transportation.
  • Route Planning: Plan and execute routes to maximize efficiency and minimize costs.
  • Branch Operations: Support the Branch Manager with day-to-day operations, ensuring compliance with Health and Safety, company policies, and procedures.
Person Specification
  • Organizational Skills: Effectively organize workload to meet deadlines, prioritizing tasks and using initiative when required.
  • Customer Focus: Passionate about delivering exceptional customer service, with a commercial approach to drive sales and maximize margins.
  • IT Skills: Confident user of MS Office and industry-standard software, such as SAP.
  • Driving License: Full and valid driving license is essential, with a FLT license a distinct advantage.
