Job Role

Recooty is seeking an experienced shutter engineer to join their team on a full-time and permanent basis. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in shutter installation, repair, and maintenance, with a focus on roller shutters and industrial doors.

Recooty is a leading provider of shutter services, with over 30 years of combined experience in the industry. They specialize in shutter repairs, installation, and maintenance services for commercial premises, including retailers, industrial units, and similar businesses.

About the Role and Responsibilities

As a shutter mobile engineer, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, servicing, and maintaining shutters on client sites across London, Essex, and Kent areas. You will need to have a good understanding of both manual and electrical shutters, as well as the ability to work independently and carry out repairs with confidence.

Experience Required
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Minimum 3 years' experience working with industrial doors, shutters, roller shutters, and shop front shutters, both manual and automatic
  • Full driving license (required)
  • CSCS, IPAF, and PASMA licenses
  • Willingness to travel across London, Central London, Essex, and Kent areas
Package
  • Starting salary from £30,000 to £43,000 per year, depending on experience, plus opportunity for overtime work
  • Working hours: Monday to Friday (40 hours)
  • Overtime on weekends and evenings potentially available
  • Full-time, permanent role
  • Uniform, holidays, pension, and tools provided
