Our client, a reputable family-run business, offers a range of services including installation, repair, and maintenance of industrial and commercial roller shutters and access gates.

Due to continued growth and expansion, they are seeking an experienced and skilled Roller Shutter / Industrial Door Technician to join their team to carry out installations, repairs, and maintenance of all types of roller shutters, sectional doors, and industrial doors.

  1. Installing, repairing, and maintaining industrial doors and roller shutters
  2. Carrying out routine maintenance and repairs to ensure optimal performance
  3. Working in a team environment, as well as independently, to meet customer needs
  4. Fault finding and troubleshooting to resolve issues efficiently
Candidate Requirements:
  1. Professional, organized, flexible, diligent, and conscientious individual
  2. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  3. Previous field service experience within the industry, with a strong background in mechanical and electrical engineering
  4. Good knowledge and experience with all types of industrial and commercial roller shutter doors
  5. Experience with manual doors and automatic door systems
  6. Mechanical and electrical engineering skills, with a strong understanding of safety protocols
  7. CSCS Card and ability to work at heights
  8. Able to work overtime and flexible hours as required
  9. Driver's License and ability to travel to various locations
  10. Pass a CRB check and maintain confidentiality
  11. DHF accreditation and other relevant certifications

Our client offers a competitive package, including a company van, power tools, mobile phone, pension, training, and progression opportunities.

Overtime will be paid at 1 1/2 times the hourly rate, with occasional nights away when required.
