We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Strategic Commercial Director to lead our commercial strategy in Vistry South East Midlands. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for directing and overseeing the commercial operations of the region, inspiring and motivating your team to achieve profit growth and foster strong relationships.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience working within a commercial construction environment, with senior-level residential experience. You will also possess excellent people management and project leadership skills, as well as a good understanding of building regulations, contractual arrangements, and legal obligations.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and implementing commercial strategies that balance risk to the business with opportunities for income generation
  • Managing relationships with subcontractors and third parties, negotiating ongoing contracts and making recommendations as required
  • Anticipating future market developments through consistent strategic level work, conducting market research and analysis to create detailed business plans
  • Directing and leading the governance of the Commercial team, ensuring proper accountability for and reporting of all commercial activity

As a valued member of our team, you will receive a competitive salary of £100,000 - £120,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus a range of benefits including a company car or car allowance, agile working possibilities, up to 33 days annual leave, private healthcare, enhanced maternity and paternity leave, and a contributory pension scheme.
