Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Radiographer/Dosimetrist to join our team at University College London Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. The successful candidate will be responsible for producing high-quality treatment plans for patients undergoing radiotherapy and proton therapy.

Main Responsibilities
  • Produce photon and proton treatment plans for a diverse range of cancer cases, including complex sarcomas, head and neck, neurological, and pediatric cancers.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary discussions to develop optimal treatment options for patients.
  • Support the Senior Dosimetrist in ensuring timely delivery of treatment planning pathways across radiotherapy and proton therapy services.
  • Contribute to the development of new and existing techniques, including the creation of standard operating procedures and training competencies for staff.
Requirements
  • BSc in Therapeutic Radiography or equivalent qualification.
  • State registration or eligibility.
  • Experience with Microsoft applications, including Word and Excel.
  • Treatment planning experience, preferably with Varian Eclipse planning system.
Working Environment

The successful candidate will work closely with physics, clinical, and radiographic staff to provide high-quality radiotherapy and proton therapy services. A good understanding of Microsoft Teams is essential for this role, as the team operates in a hybrid working environment.
