Job Title: Employee Relations Specialist

This role combines strategic thinking with hands-on employee relations case management, allowing you to make a significant impact across the company.

About the Role:

  • You will guide the development of robust practices that align with our client's strategic goals and ensure a harmonious and compliant workplace.
  • Your expertise will navigate complex employee relations cases, resolving issues that affect individuals and shape the culture of our organisation.

Your Impact:

  • Develop and implement compliant employee relations processes, guidelines, and templates to support management self-serve in resolving ER issues.
  • Develop and revise our People policies to ensure legal compliance and a positive work environment.
  • Deliver training programs such as conflict resolution, dignity in the workplace, and HR processes.
  • Work with stakeholders to address complex employee issues and promote positive workplace dynamics.
  • Monitor and analyze ER cases, identifying trends and proposing associated interventions.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders and functional leads to understand business needs and propose initiatives to support a positive employee experience.
  • Develop and mentor junior team members, spreading your knowledge and fostering a learning environment within the team.

Personal Specification:

  • Broad and up-to-date understanding of employment law within the UK and practical application experience.
  • Strong knowledge to build credibility within the business and foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Ability to analyze employee relations data and trends to identify areas for improvement, anticipate potential issues, and develop proactive strategies.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing business needs, priorities, and organizational dynamics while remaining resilient and composed in challenging situations.
  • Experience in designing, developing, and embedding new processes and policies.
  • Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills, enabling effective collaboration and influence across all levels of the organization.

Estimated Salary: £45,000 - £55,000 per annum, depending on experience, including a competitive package with a robust support system focusing on professional development and well-being.
