Job Title: Engineering Leadership Position

We are seeking an exceptional Engineering Leadership Position to join our team in Coventry. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality engineering solutions, while driving innovation and improvement across our organisation.

The ideal candidate will have a breadth of systems engineering knowledge, with significant experience in a senior engineering role. You will be responsible for leading activities and supervising others as they tailor and develop systems engineering practices to suit the needs of a particular project/programme of work.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead activities and supervise others as they tailor and develop systems engineering practices to suit the needs of a particular project/programme of work.
  • Effectively communicate and negotiate with stakeholders to ensure the development and delivery of optimised systems.
  • Demonstrate expertise in a given domain and also absorb and process new domain knowledge quickly.
  • Work collaboratively across engineering disciplines and other functions.

Your Skills and Experience:

  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in a senior engineering role, with a sound basis in the science of engineering.
  • You will have a degree qualification or equivalent experience in a STEM related discipline.
  • Membership of an appropriate professional institution and Chartered status, or demonstrable working towards Chartership.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to coach, mentor, and assist others.

About the Role:

This is a permanent position, based in Coventry, with a competitive salary of £80,000-£100,000 per annum, depending on experience.
