Job Description

Freight Personnel is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Export Logistics Coordinator to join our team. As an Export Logistics Coordinator, you will be responsible for coordinating the logistics process for exporting our clients' products globally.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate the shipping of our clients' products globally, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery.
  • Arrange transportation of products in a timely manner according to the manufacturing schedule and in liaison with our Dispatch Department.
  • Work closely with our Dispatch, Customer Service, and Operations Departments to ensure a cohesive approach to the manufacture and shipping of our clients' products.
  • Maintain a current knowledge of shipping legislation and documentation, including the shipping of hazardous products.
  • Prepare all order documentation, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations.
  • Monitor warehouse capacity and ensure products are shipped effectively following manufacture.
  • Monitor activities throughout the manufacturing process to ensure deadlines are met.
  • Continually review transportation rates and select preferred suppliers to ensure our export process is cost-effective and suitable for customer requirements.
  • Keep accurate records and analyze budget costs/delivery deadlines, providing reports for Management.
  • Monitor quality control and dispatch delays, ensuring prompt resolution.
  • Process invoices without delay, ensuring timely payment.

Requirements:

  • Experience with importing and exporting goods, with knowledge of exporting hazardous goods desirable.
  • Knowledge of Customs & Excise requirements and relevant import/export documentation.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong MS Office knowledge, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Exceptional customer service skills, with ability to create and manage working databases/spreadsheets.
  • Ability to deal with overseas enquiries and customer service, via telephone and email.
  • Knowledge of Anilox manufacture/printing and production processes.
  • Excellent 'can-do' attitude, flexibility, and willingness to work additional hours when required.
  • A proactive team player with good attention to detail, administration, and time management skills.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Methodical approach to work.
