Financial Planning Specialist

Established in the industry, Trial Balance continues to expand its market share. The company has a vacancy for an experienced Accountant to join its dynamic business services team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a fully qualified professional looking to take their career to the next level. As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of clients, ensuring all deadlines are met and providing expert advice on financial matters.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of statutory accounting, VAT, personal and corporation tax, as well as excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to manage a varied client base. Key Responsibilities:
- Accounts and tax return preparation for a portfolio of sole traders, partnerships and limited companies
- Management of client portfolio to ensure all deadlines are met
- Resolving client queries and provision of business advice
- Mentoring and supervision of junior staff
- Business development and networking
Requirements:
- Fully qualified ACA or ACCA, with consideration given to non-qualified candidates with extensive practice experience
- Excellent technical accounting skills in all areas of statutory accounting, VAT, personal and corporation tax
- Strong systems skills to include cloud-based accounting packages
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to manage a varied client portfolio
