Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced HGV Class 2 driver to join our team at Backline Logistics. As a Class 2 HGV driver, you will be responsible for collecting and delivering pallets, fridge goods, and other items to our clients across Hampshire and Wiltshire.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collect and deliver goods to clients in a timely and efficient manner
  • Maintain a clean and well-maintained vehicle, adhering to company standards
  • Ensure all paperwork is completed accurately and on time
  • Demonstrate strong knowledge of the Hampshire and Wiltshire area and road network

Requirements:

  • Valid Category CE / Class 2 Driving Licence
  • Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
  • Clean driving license (max 6 points, no DD/DR in last 5 years)
  • Minimum 3 years of HGV Class 2 experience
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Professionalism and attention to detail
  • Strong knowledge of the area and road network
  • Authorised to work in the UK
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing start times
  • Own transportation (public transport may not be reliable)
