Job Title: Class 2 Driver

We are seeking an experienced Class 2 Driver to join our team at Clover HR Services Limited. Based out of Andover, the successful candidate will have a minimum of 2 years HGV driving experience and a valid Class 2 driving licence.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise the loading of the vehicle to ensure products are safely loaded and secured.
  • Verify the load with the Transport Manager and Loader to ensure accuracy against customer orders.
  • Ensure safe delivery and respect customer property, consulting with the Transport Manager if necessary.
  • Check goods off with customers and obtain signatures.
  • Provide excellent customer service and handle customer issues effectively.
  • Carry out multidrop deliveries in a timely and safe manner.
  • Drive the vehicle safely and in accordance with the law, adhering to the Working Time Directive and Drivers Hours regulations.
  • Maintain the cleanliness of the driving cab and report any accidents as soon as possible.
  • Complete a daily vehicle inspection sheet and submit it to the Transport Manager.
  • Attend essential training to perform the driver role and provide support in the Yard as required.
Qualification Requirements:
  • Minimum Class 2 driving licence.
  • Maximum 6 points.
  • Must be over 25 for insurance purposes.
  • Moffett forklift licence preferred but not essential, as training can be provided.
  • Minimum 2 years HGV driving experience required.
