Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Control Systems Engineer to join our team at Bureau Technical Services. This is a permanent role based in Hessle, offering a competitive salary of £55,000 - £65,000 per annum.

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing electrical control systems, managing project teams, and ensuring high-quality technical documentation.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement electrical control systems for various projects
  • Manage project teams, provide detailed instructions, and review documentation
  • Undertake site surveys, direct liaison with clients, and provide engineering input to other disciplines
  • Review and validate vendor documentation, drawings, and specifications
  • Ensure work is executed according to company and project HSEQ systems

Requirements:

  • HNC/HND in instrumentation & control or equivalent work experience
  • Membership of a professional body, working towards chartership or already chartered
  • Minimum 2 years' Oil & Gas or high hazard industry experience in a similar role
  • Familiarity with instrument and actuated valve technologies, industrial automation, and system communications
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills, ability to work effectively with minimal supervision
