About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Compliance Officer to join our team at HKA. As a key member of our finance team, you will play a critical role in enhancing and maintaining a robust financial control environment across the entire Group.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the development and implementation of financial control policies and processes to ensure compliance and efficiency.
  • Plan and execute audits on financial controls across the Group, identifying areas for improvement and guiding the organisation towards stronger financial governance.
  • Document findings and communicate recommendations to management and other stakeholders.
  • Lead the follow-up of audit recommendations to ensure timely implementation.
  • Liaise with external auditors and assist with the Group statutory audit.
  • Deliver ad-hoc tasks as assigned by Group Statutory and Compliance Manager to support the delivery of the core objectives of the function.
Requirements
  • 2-3 years of relevant experience in compliance, such as internal/external audit or risk, in a commercial environment or in an accountancy practice.
  • Knowledge of relevant regulations, accounting principles, and established company policies and procedures.
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical mindset.
  • Ability to think objectively and demonstrate sound judgement.
  • Ability to document findings, recommendations, and communicate these to management and other stakeholders.
  • Comfortable working in a rapidly changing environment.
  • Ability to work in teams, collaborating with others and building relationships with stakeholders.
