Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Plumber Multi Trader to join our team at BD Group, a facilities services company dedicated to delivering high-quality services to public and private sector clients. As a Plumber Multi Trader, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing plumbing systems in commercial and residential properties.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Installation and Maintenance: Install new plumbing systems, ensuring compliance with regulations and safety standards.
  • Repair and Maintenance: Perform plumbing repairs and maintenance, including fixing leaks, unblocking drains, and repairing/replacing fixtures.
  • General Repairs: Prepare walls and ceilings for plastering, painting, and decorating, including patch repair, plastering, tiling, and silicone work.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with other maintenance team members, sharing knowledge and assisting with tasks, and ensure clear communication with clients and colleagues.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of all repairs, installations, and inspections, including before and after photos.
  • Health and Safety: Ensure all work complies with relevant regulations and health and safety standards.

Requirements:

  • Qualifications: A minimum qualification (such as City & Guilds or NVQ) in Plumbing.
  • Experience: Experience in a repairs' environment, with a preference for social housing experience.
  • Skills: Proficient in plumbing and skilled in at least one other trade, excellent understanding of Health and Safety regulations and procedures, and proven ability to deliver high-quality construction projects and efficient output to meet client expectations.

Working Arrangements:

  • Working Pattern: 36 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
  • Location: Barking & Dagenham.
