We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Kitchen Assistant to join our team at Curaa Group.

About the Role

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about delivering high-quality food services in a care home setting. As a Kitchen Assistant, you will be responsible for supporting the Chef in delivering exceptional food service, ensuring that all meals are prepared to the highest standards of cleanliness, safety, and hygiene.

You will be working in a fast-paced environment, preparing meals for residents, maintaining a clean and organized kitchen area, and ensuring that all equipment and appliances are properly maintained. Your attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to work well under pressure will make you an ideal candidate for this role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Chef in preparing and serving meals to residents
  • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen area, adhering to all health and safety regulations
  • Clean and sanitize all equipment, utensils, and appliances used in food preparation
  • Responsible for providing refreshments for residents and guests
  • Ensure that areas such as dining rooms and other public spaces are clean and stocked appropriately

About You

To be successful in this role, you will need to have excellent communication skills, be able to work well under pressure, and be passionate about delivering high-quality food services. You should also be flexible and adaptable, with a positive attitude and a strong work ethic.
