We are seeking a dedicated Laundry Assistant to join our team at Curaa Group. This is an exciting opportunity for a hardworking and compassionate individual to provide exceptional care services to our residents.

Job Overview

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing laundry duties, ensuring cleanliness and organization of the laundry area, and collaborating with the care team to maintain high standards of care.

Apart from laundry responsibilities, this role involves general cleaning tasks such as vacuuming rooms, emptying waste bins, and maintaining the overall tidiness of the care home.

Responsibilities
  • Perform laundry duties including washing, drying, ironing, and storing linens and residents' personal clothing.
  • Maintain accurate records of laundry operations and report any issues or concerns to management.
  • Clean and maintain the laundry area, including equipment and storage spaces.
  • Collaborate with the care team to ensure seamless coordination of laundry services and general cleaning tasks.
  • Adhere to infection control policies and guidelines to prevent the spread of germs and infestation.
Requirements
  • A strong communicator with excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team.
