About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Academic Welfare Specialist to join our team at ARK Schools. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about supporting students to achieve their full potential.
The successful candidate will have experience of working with students in a post-secondary setting and be able to provide guidance and support to help them overcome challenges and achieve academic success.
As part of our team, you will work closely with teachers, leaders, and families to promote students' academic, social, and emotional wellbeing.
Key Responsibilities
- To ensure the academy values are upheld in the day-to-day experience and conduct of pupils both inside and outside the classroom.
- To support students' conduct in the sixth form study spaces and cover sixth form lessons or form time in emergencies.
- To mentor and support pupils in their learning and encourage positive attitudes and behavior in and around school.
Salary: £26,441.69 (pro rata) per annum, plus benefits.
