This is an exciting opportunity to join EdEx – Education Recruitment as an Academic Support Officer in a thriving secondary school in Camden, London.

We are seeking a graduate with a passion for education and a commitment to supporting students' academic, personal, and social development. Your expertise will be invaluable in ensuring that our students receive the best possible support to achieve their full potential.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and be able to build positive relationships with students, parents, and staff. You will work closely with teachers to provide additional support and cover lessons as needed, promoting a seamless learning experience for all students.

As an Academic Support Officer, you will play a vital part in bridging the learning gap and inspiring young people to succeed. Key Responsibilities:
  • To provide academic support to students, helping them to overcome barriers to learning and achieving their full potential.
  • To maintain effective communication with students, parents, and staff, working collaboratively to promote student well-being and academic success.
  • To support teachers in lesson coverage, enabling students to access high-quality teaching and learning experiences.
  • To contribute to the development of student welfare and safety policies, ensuring that our students feel safe and supported at all times.
